De Bohun is a Primary School with Nursery maintained by the London Borough of Enfield for Children from 4 – 11 years old, of all abilities. The school was built to much acclaim in 1936 and is listed by English Heritage. It is named after the De Bohun family who were major landowners in the area in medieval times. The school is favourably situated in a convenient location close to bus and tube serving a wide and mixed area.
We are proud of the multi-cultural nature of our school. The children speak a wide range of different languages. A lot of effort is put into understanding, respecting and learning from the range of cultures and religions present at De Bohun.
Our large, two-storey building affords us a large learning area including a purpose-designed nursery, an art room, music room, two halls and ICT suite. Our grounds are also spacious with two playgrounds, a large grass area that can be used for a wide range of traditional sports but also including activities like orienteering and an ecology area. Our facilities allow us to offer a full, varied and balanced curriculum.
